About the Role
Suntech Aluminum & Glass is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee aluminum, glazing, and façade projects from planning through execution and final handover. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of aluminum and glass systems, project coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage aluminum and glass projects from initiation to completion.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Interpret and work with structural drawings, architectural drawings, and floor plans.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and progress.
- Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Manage procurement and material requirements for project execution.
- Conduct site inspections, measurements, and project meetings.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management within the aluminum, glass, façade, construction, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of aluminum fabrication, glazing systems, curtain walls, shopfronts, windows, and doors.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, architectural drawings, and floor plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- A valid driver’s license is an advantage.
Added Advantages
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Experience in material extraction (quantity take-offs and material estimation).
- Experience with project scheduling and resource planning.
- Knowledge of aluminum systems, façade works, and construction methodologies. These skills are commonly sought in aluminum and glass project management roles.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
